Tommy Magee
Building with AI, and bringing people along.
I lead teams that put AI to work inside a business. I build with it myself, teach people how to use it, and help figure out what’s worth changing in the first place.
At Rivian, I lead Tech & Applied AI for capital projects and corporate real estate. My background is in the systems behind large capital programs and real estate. On my own time, I’m building VibeLaunch and working through what it takes to turn an idea into a product people can use.
I like the messy part: understanding the problem, connecting the pieces, and getting something over the line.
Where I’ve put that into practice
The workBuilding AI capability at Rivian
Joined to help design the capital projects platform; now leading AI implementation, training, and decisions about what deserves to scale.
Capital program technology at Turner & Townsend
Advising capital program owners on systems, portfolio information, and how to make a change work beyond the software.
VibeLaunch
My independent publishing product for people creating with AI, with a public Claude Code connector.
From practice
When everyone starts building agents
When teams started building in parallel, more build sessions weren’t the fix. We needed to decide who owns a tool once others depend on it. That experience shapes how I think about scaling AI and evaluating its return.
